National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence
The fifth National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence was held on Friday, 20 March 2015.
This year more than 1950 schools, with more than 890,000 students across Australia participated by running local events, inviting guest speakers and running classroom lessons. Congratulations to schools for a fantastic response!
This annual day provides a focus for all schools to say Bullying. No Way! and to strengthen their existing everyday messages that bullying and violence at school are not okay at any time.
The Stand Together lesson plans are available for teachers to download to use in the classroom. Lesson plans can be used to support your school's involvement in the National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence or any time throughout the year. They include an activity overview, detailed lesson plans, handouts and resources needed to conduct the lessons, as well as information about opportunities for ongoing learning.
Downloadable resources were created for the 2015 National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence, as well as other Bullying. No Way! promotional material.
